Now I know why Logan's been waking up at night and had a perpetually runny nose for the past week! I discovered it on Sunday when he was gnawing on my knuckle and noticed that something scratchy was in there. A new tooth had popped out on his lower jaw! Very exciting. His sister's first tooth showed up at 6 months, but Logan's didn't arrive 'til 7 1/2 months. Not that I'm comparing or anything... :)Onto other news: we attended my cousin's wedding last weekend in Las Vegas. No, it wasn't at a "chapel" on the strip. It was a very nice event and we had a great time with my parents and brother and his girlfriend (hopefully future sister-in-law). Steve & Sarah couldn't make it because of her school schedule, but they had some great daddy/daughter time.
Just last week, once we were home, Logan was playing by himself in the living room and having just a great time. Steve discovered him with a handful of yarn on his head and a marker in his pocket. A secret sweater maker/cartoonist? Maybe he just wants to be raggedy andy for halloween!
Sarah and Daddy went for a flower collecting trip in the field next door. The goldenrod and wild purple daisies are in bloom right now. Maybe she was practicing to be a flowergirl in hopes of another family wedding soon.... we'll keep our fingers crossed.
