We'll deviate from the Logan-mania for a bit and tell you about Sarah's exciting new adventure coming this fall. You might be surprised to find out that she will attend Kindergarten this next school year...I can't believe she's that old already! Veritas Christian Academy (http://www.vcacademy.com/), a K-12 private school located south of Asheville, has accepted her for their Kindergarten program and we couldn't be more thrilled. After talking with their Head of School, we were quite motivated about their "classical education" system. Imagine! To learn that teaching grammar and logic was a "classical" approach (read "old school") was quite a shock. Just what ARE they teaching in public school? Well, one thing is for sure, it's not God or the Bible and that's precisely why we are taking both the kids to a christian school. ("Parents, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord" -Ephesians 6:4) Besides, it was very refreshing to hear the Head of School talk so passionately about their curriculum. She helped found the school 10 years ago and still has a great love for the curriculum and teaching method from kindergarten thru 12th grade.
Okay, so enough of my ranting. Here is a shot of Logan looking wistfully out the front window at the sunshine and hoping he could be out there running around. Soon Logan! Very soon! As he gains muscle control, he's been able to hold his head up without support for longer and longer periods.
