This is Sarah and Logan on a trip down the road to visit some neighborhood chickens. We take stale bread and Sarah loves to toss it to them...of course, they love to eat it too. The last time we went I had Logan strapped in the Baby Bjorn carrier and was quite loaded down. This time however, I put him in Sarah's lap and she held onto him the whole way. You can see his leg did get strapped in just to make sure he didn't slip off, but it was a fun trip. Sarah had insisted on wearing short sleeves this day even though it was a bit chilly, but with Logan on top of her she stayed warm.
Helloo chickens! They are a lively bunch.
This past week we took an inaugural trip in our new camper to Cherokee, NC. We were going to stay 2 nights, but ended up coming back after one. Not because the trailer was bad, just because we all had colds! This has been a week of runny noses, sore throats, and pink eye. Yuck. I'll be glad when its over. But, in the middle of it we took this camping trip to get away. These pictures were taken at a bear exhibit where you can feed the bears. Steve & Sarah went to check it out. Turns out it was a pretty neat thing to do and the bears can catch food in their mouth!
I had to throw this one in there for the sake of my father. He bought Logan this outfit that says "naughty" on the behind. Obviously a holiday outfit gone wrong because our son is nothing of the sort! Anyhow, these shots are for him.
And, of course, one last cute picture of the baby boy. This was taken at a time when he had little pimples on his cheeks. Those have since gone away...they were the result of my hormones in utero...Sarah got them too when she was that age.
