Smiles, smiles, smiles

Again, time seems to fly by...it's already been 2 weeks since my last post. Oh well, at least we're busy! Steve left today for a 3-day trip to Copenhagen...it's the first time he's flown all month because of his lingering illness and he was getting antsy to go. (Not to mention me!) However, the last week he's been feeling back to normal and as a result, has been working like crazy cleaning up the property. During the construction there were lots of odds and ends scattered around because we had to clean out our carport and storage room in a hurry, so now we are just getting the time to sort through it all. To make a long story short, it looks really great in the "back 40"! Now I have to work on landscaping the front porch area which requires a little light grading and some rock work. Steve even gathered all the exposed large rocks too! I've got my work cut out for me...

Here's a few shots from the past few weeks. Logan's back has been getting stronger and he's now able to sit up fairly straight. Of course he can't sit on his own, but at least he doesn't have to be supported 100%. In this picture, I'm holding him and the camera at the same time...needless to say I didn't get many extra shots before he became unstable. Luckily he was on his padded changing table, so it was a soft landing.
Here's a good family shot...although, still working on getting all four of us together!! A smile!
And one with Daddy...and Mr. Serious. With Logan's hairstyle and the look on his face, he looks like a Marine drill sergeant here...yikes! Rip, you've got competition...
Yea, but he's got a smile that will warm the hardest of hearts! Thanks Great-Great Aunt Vernel for this cute monkey outfit!
